Who I am

Hello! Welcome to my website. My name is Sarah and I’m a digital artist that specialises in nature and colour.

I have always had a love for flowers ever since my time as a florist, especially as I got to saw the wide variety of colours that nature produces. This then led me onto a love for butterflies and trying to incorporate as much colour and patterns into my art as possible.

Throughout my childhood and teen years, I’ve had a passion for being creative and trying out as many different avenues as possible. Including jewellery making, card making and even pottery. But once I started as a florist my obsession with nature and colour truly began and I finally worked up the courage to finally go to university. During my year long course in preparation for higher education, I was advised to do Textiles and Surface Design and I am so pleased that I took they’re advice and never regretted the decision.

Throughout my years studying at the Northern School of Art and eventually gaining a BA (Hons) Textiles and Surface Design, Second Class, I discovered a passion for digital designing especially within the Gift and Home decor sector. During these years I gained the confidence and the knowledge to create unique and colourful art which I then can place onto a variety of products. This includes using UV resin and how to incorporate my art with it. As well as discovering new obsessions along the way such as my mandala designs.
